Msecore mini PC with Windows 10

Msecore is making an assault on low-cost desktops with an inexpensive Fanless mini-PC running Windows 7.You can upgrade Windows 10.

Remember when you ditched Firefox for Chrome and pinkie-swore you’d never go back?

The Fanless Mini Desktop starts at $388.99, and has similarly minimalist features to low-cost Chrome desktops, or Chromeboxes. The cheapest Fanless model has just 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM, and like Chromeboxes is for those who do most of their computing online.

The compact desktop weighs just 1.8 kilograms. It has a low-end dual-core Intel Celeron processor 4200u and Windows 7, which Microsoft provides at no cost to PC makers to encourage its spread on the low end. Msecore also sells low-cost Fanless laptops with Windows 7.

The Fanless desktop is one of HP's cheapest, and brings Windows to consumers at an affordable price. The desktop has an advantage over comparable Chrome PCs as it can run more applications without an Internet connection. Most applications in Chrome PCs require an Internet connection, though the catalog of offline applications is growing.

The Windows Fanless PC comes with two occupied SO-DIMM memory slot, but an additional slot is available to upgrade memory capacity. The desktop also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.i5-4200u 4g ram 128g ssd Mini PC

Comparing the Fanless laptop and desktop, each has its own advantages. The Fanless laptop is portable. But the expansion capabilities in the Fanless desktop make it a good option if you already have a keyboard and an external display.

Quiet PC Msecore Pro Fanless

The Msecore with 5th Gen CPU is now 100% silent! Configured to your specification with memory, up to two HDD/SSD and, Windows or Linux and (optionally) a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter, just plug in and go.

The Intel Next Unit of Computing (NUC) is a small PC kit powered by an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor. It provides responsive performance and energy efficiency at the same time. The Msecore Pro Fanless is a fully-built PC based on the NUC and measures just 164 x 47 x 112 mm. It offers mini-HDMI and mini-DisplayPort outputs, a Gigabit Ethernet connection and four USB 3.0 ports for external expandability.

Even though the i5-4200u 4g ram 128g ssd Mini PC  is small in size, it is just as versatile as a full-sized computer whilst being convenient enough to be portable. The HDMI and DP outputs provide full HD 1080p video playback as well as 7.1 digital audio output, (a capable AV Receiver is required).

You can easily travel with the NUC and simply connect it via HDMI or DP cable to an LCD TV at the place to where you are travelling such as a remote office, a hotel room or a friend's house. A whole host of capabilities are possible when connected to the internet via broadband. The NUC is the epitome of versatility and portability. Alternatively, you can enjoy an uncluttered desk with the NUC mounted somewhere out of the way - even behind your monitor! (Optional VESA bracket required.)

We offer the Msecore Pro Fanless in two different versions: an aggressively-priced Core i3 machine and a more powerful i5. Essentially, the only difference between them is performance. If you need moderate performance then choose the Core i3 (2.1 GHz). If you need even more performance then choose the Core i5 (1.6 GHz with Turbo Boost to 2.7 GHz).

The price of many pre-built PCs these days is often supported by cash kickbacks from software companies who pay hardware manufacturers to pre-install limited or trial versions of their software and then hope that the customer pays to upgrade to the full version. The downside to this approach is that the new PC comes pre-loaded with a lot of "junkware" which bloats the operating system and can cause severe performance degradation.

Here at Quiet PC we believe that customers have every right to expect the best possible performance from a brand new PC. We install the operating system (if you order one), motherboard drivers, OS updates and (for Windows 7 only) Microsoft Security Essentials - that's it. You won't be pestered by pop-ups and nag screens and you can get on with using your new PC immediately without having to uninstall lots of junkware first. Your new machine will boot in super-quick time and will stay running quickly for many months and years to come.

We offer free hardware technical support for as long as you own the machine. This support covers any hardware query or problem, including advice on maintenance and upgrades. We regret we can't offer software support or training so we would recommend contacting the relevant software vendor in this instance. Support for Ubuntu can be obtained through online forums or on a commercial basis from Msecore Ltd.

Our hardware warranty runs for two years and is offered on a "collect and return" basis, meaning that you don't need to worry about getting the machine back to us - we will instruct our courier to collect it from you on a day of your choosing, then after we have checked and repaired it we will send it back to you by express courier at our expense. In addition, unlike many other PC suppliers, we have an "open-case" policy which means you are free to open the machine and perform your own minor modifications or upgrades without worrying that your warranty might be affected.
